Abstract
In this paper, the simulation model of TCO Luminance angular uniformity is established using TechWiz and LightTools software. The simulation result is highly consistent with the measured value, which can realize the early evaluation of the design scheme, avoid the repeated modification of design due to noncompliance with the specifications after MDL production, and save R & D cost and time. Through this simulation, the influencing factors related to the panel and BLU of TCO Luminance angular uniformity are deeply studied. Based on the BLU with DPP film structure, a high brightness and low‐cost MNT TFT‐LCD design scheme meeting TCO certification and CR 2200 under ES8.0 is given.
