Abstract
In this study, we proposed an optimal foam tape design for the assembly of curved display modules using topology optimization. We constructed the lifetime prediction model of the foam tape by verifying the correlation between the stress and the failure time with the revised power model. Two optimal designs were derived through a 2‐step topology optimization process by constructing constraints with a life prediction model. We manufactured the curved display module using the optimal design and verified its performance.
