Abstract
Quantum Dot Light‐Emitting Diode (QD‐LED) has the disadvantage of charge imbalance due to the deep HOMO level of QD itself and layer mixing due to the solution process despite its enormous advantage of high color purity and large display manufacturing. PEIE, introduced to prevent this, uses harmful 2‐ME solvents, and was evaluated to replace them with IPA, a harmless solvent. As a result, IPA secured more than twice the EQE to resolve the charge imbalance compared to 2‐ME, and equivalent EQE to protect EML. Finally, we verify that 2‐ME could be smoothly replaced with IPA.
