Abstract
We elucidated the degradation mechanism of OLEDs using mass spectrometry and theoretical analysis. GCIB‐TOF‐SIMS and MS/MS revealed that the carbazole group adduct to mCBP was formed in the emission layer of the degraded OLED. The generation process of the degradation product was clarified using quantum chemical calculations and vibronic coupling density analysis.
