Abstract
Complexes of platinum and palladium with N-allyl-N´-propylthiourea immobilized on an SiO2 surface have high catalytic activity in the oxidation of hydrogen in the temperature range 273-373 K after partial destruction of the ligand. The kinetics of the oxidation of hydrogen is in accord with the Eley–Rideal mechanism.
