Abstract
Previously, endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) with failed percutaneous access was associated with higher rates of cardiac complications, longer operative times, greater estimated blood loss, and a prolonged length of stay. We evaluated the national trends and benefit of routine ultrasound-guided femoral access in percutaneous EVAR (PEVAR) in the Vascular Quality Initiative.
