Abstract

O filme de Joachim Lang sobre A Ópera dos três vinténs (1928) acompanha as lutas que Brecht teve de enfrentar para adaptar sua famosa ópera no início dos anos 30. Brecht e Kurt Weill, compositor da trilha sonora, assinaram um contrato com a Nero-Film para uma adaptação cinematográfica, mas o filme nunca aconteceu. Acusado de plagiário e encrenqueiro, Brecht sempre tomou esses rótulos como elogios.
