Abstract
Effect of texture on transverse magnetic properties of thin Co-Ni films has been investigated. Films with [0002] texture showed one peak in coercivity versus angle of rotation plot, whereas those with [0002] and [10 1 0] orientations had two peaks. A possible explanation for such observations is presented.
