Co.'s operations include interests in health services, manufacturing, plastics and other businesses, and serves customers in the U.S. and Canada. The Electric segment includes the production, transmission, distribution and sale of electric energy in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. The Manufacturing segment includes the production of waterfront equipment, wind towers, custom plastic pallets, and material and handling trays. The Health Services segment consists of the sale of diagnostic medical and patient monitoring equipment. The Plastics segment produces polyvinyl chloride and polyethylene pipes used in water systems.
