Checkup result ear swab in dog cases indicate mite infestation Otodectes cynotis. The diagnosis in animal cases is otitis externa with a fausta prognosis. Treatment for otitis externa in case dogs was given combination drops of ivermectin and chloramphenicol (Vetotic®) by administering 2 drops twice a day to both ears for 3 days and supportive therapy by administering vitamin sangobion® once a day for 10 days. Ear cleaning with chlorhexidine and alcohol was done before treatment. Results of the evaluation of the case dog after being administered treatment show good response.
