Abstract

We report on a detailed study of the frequency spectrum of a stripe domain's natural wall oscillations in a thin magnetic garnet film, containing a vertical Bloch line. A new fundamental mode of oscillation which is localized at the Bloch line position, is found both experimentally and theoretically at a frequency lying below the main breathing mode of the stripe wall spectrum. This result could open the prospect for the determination of the wall structure which would be advantageous for possible applications to vertical Bloch line memories.
