Abstract

The spectrum of oscillation of ferroelectric nanoparticles of different shapes was analyzed by the method of finding eigenvalues and eigenfunctions. The oscillation spectrum for elliptical particles obtained by an exact solution using numerical methods. The spectrum of eigenvalues of a particle of elliptic shape better coincides with the spectrum of a particle in the form of a parallelepiped of similar size. The obtained results provide a fundamental opportunity to construct the Green’s function and to evaluate the contribution of the ferroelectric component to the thermodynamic properties of the sample, to the dispersion of light and X-ray waves, etc.
