Abstract

With the advancement of technology, new methods and work routines were developed. Only in 1970 did the home office appear, which consists of carrying out professional activities outside the organizational environment. This work consists of analyzing the positive and negative impacts of the home office for companies and employees, identifying the difference between traditional work and home office, the changes needed to perform work remotely, the laws that govern this work methodology and evaluating the home office during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, which required the re-adaptation of social, professional and health habits. It is concluded that the disadvantages of home office work are greater due to psychological damage and their precarious working conditions
