Abstract
It was shown that orthotopic transplantation of a donor ovary between chicks of different breeds, performed without using any techniques to overcome the histoincompatibility barriers, allows us to produce recipient hens that are fertile on account of the graft’s functions, but the rate of producing such fowl is low and varies from 0 to 20%, depending on the combinations of breeds and grafting version.
