Ortalama trombosit hacmi ve trombosit dağılım genişliğinin off-pump koroner baypas greftleme ameliyatlarındaki değişimi ve bu değişimin ameliyat sonrası kanama miktarı ile ilişkisinin araştırılması

Abstract

Objectives: This study aimed to examine the relationship between preoperative mean platelet volume (MPV) and platelet distribution width (PDW) values and postoperative drainage amounts in coronary artery bypass grafting operations without cardiopulmonary bypass support. Patients and methods: One hundred three patients (78 males, 25 females; mean age: 62.8±10.0 years; range, 40 to 85 years) who underwent off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting surgery between December 2015 and May 2018 were included in the retrospective study. Results: There was a negative and insignificant relationship between preoperative MPV values and postoperative drainage (p=0.223, r=-0.121). There was a positive and insignificant relationship between preoperative PDW values and postoperative drainage (p=0.167, r=0.137). Conclusion: According to the results of our study, PDW and MPV values did not correlate with postoperative bleeding in patients who underwent off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting.
