Abstract
The crystal structure of tricyclohexyltin acetate has been determined by three-dimensional X-ray methods. The crystals are orthorhombic, space group Pmcn, with a= 13·539, b= 13·606, c= 11·423 A. The structure consists of discrete molecules containing four-co-ordinate tin atoms in a distorted tetrahedral configuration. Steric hindrance by the cycohexyl groups prevents close approach of a second acetate group.
