Abstract

“Union leaders at newspapers, digital outlets and broadcast stations are seeing historic levels of organizing that show little sign of stopping,” said a recent report from the Poynter Institute for Media Studies, a nonprofit journalism school and research organization. Since 2015, multiple media employers—largely in the digital space—have seen upticks in organizing activity.
