The search for ways to save budget funds, the rapid and relentless development of IT tech-nologies have contributed to changes in the organization of its work: some departments have merged, creating new ones.In the context of the current trend of openness of public authorities, author emphasizes the creativity of the staff of the press service of the President of the Chamber of Deputies. Using minimal resources, a web page has been created with press releases about the activities of the President of the Chamber, which contributes to the image of a modern and responsible politician and generally has some potential to influence positive public opinion about the Czech Parliament as a whole. As a result, the structure and tasks of the Chamber’s Office defined by law correspond to the subsidiary nature of this body, which was created for professional, organizational and technical support of the lower house of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, its bodies and officials, deputies and clubs.
