Vectors of digitalization and IT technologies in agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan

Abstract

The article discusses the current problems of digitalization and the development of IT technologies in the agricultural sector of Tatarstan with a strategic perspective for the digital transformation of the republic's agribusiness. Projects for the development of digitalization in the agricultural sector of the Republic of Tatarstan were considered. Analytical studies of the stages of introducing a number of IT technologies in the republican agricultural sector have been carried out. It was established that digital technologies in the agricultural sector expand the business orientation of the industry, changing the usual industry markets It is shown that digitalization projects and IT technologies in the agricultural sector are focused on the prospects of the industry development from the projects related to online control of work on farmland to the farm projects via virtual format, what generally contributes to the development of new levels of digitalization and digital transformation of the agricultural sector. The active implementation of digital technologies in the agricultural sector of the Tatarstan Republic will allow to reach the level of $ 26,800 million by 2030 with a growth rate of 14.5%.
