Abstract
The present research concerns relevant problems of shipbuilding yards, which arise while such enterprises are being founded or deeply modernized. The leaders of contemporary Russian economics are oil and gas extracting companies. They become the main customers and investors of shipbuilding due to increasing necessity to build new and modernize existing fleet. Besides, there are developed long-term state strategies of shipbuilding development, which include definite enlargement of production programs of shipbuilding yards. Thus, there is a necessity of increasing organizational and technical level of shipbuilding using innovational, expensive equipment, processes and progressive management systems, which leads to consequent steep cost increase. This problem is analyzed in the research, new organizational and technical approaches of its solution are suggested, including fundamentally new method of depreciation for shipbuilding yards.
