Abstract

Organic semiconductors have been studied extensively in recent years for their applications in optoelectronic materials and the devices such as organic light-emitting diodes, organic photovoltaics and organic field effect transistors. In this chapter, we introduce the development history, the structural characteristics (such as charge transfer salts etc.) and basic properties of organic semiconductors, organic conductors and organic superconductor.
