Abstract

We calculate the spin wave energies of the Heisenberg antiferromagnet in the Pyrochlore structure for several Néel states, which are degenerate for classical spins. In the harmonic approximation we show that the degeneracy is partially lifted leading to the stabilization of collinear structures.
