Abstract
Orchis ustulata was classified as an endangered species (EN) in the Polish Red Data Book and the National Red List (Bernacki et al. 2015; Kaźmierczakowa et al. 2016). A new locality of it was found in the Murawy Dobromierskie Steppe Reserve in the vicinity of Dobromierz village (Przedbórz Upland, S Poland). Orchis ustulata was recorded in grassland (Festuco-Brometea class). Its population consisted of 18 specimens in 2017. To preserve the population, active conservation (repeated cutting of shrubs and grazing or mowing of the herb layer) and monitoring are required.
