Abstract

The current issues of physical education of students of Ukraine are considered, the main pedagogical tasks are justified. A current analysis of the state of physical education of students in higher education institutions (HEI) was carried out, the domestic scientific literature, research of scientists and specialists were studied. The goal of the research is determined and aspects of improving the educational process in physical education in the context of the modern stage of education reform in Ukraine are consistently reviewed.The existing teaching methods, their content, that is, the system of various types of educational activities, the purpose of their application and interaction with the teaching aids, have been studied.A demanded method for optimizing the types of educational activities in physical education based on the acmeological approach is a leading direction – motivation to attend and success of physical education classes, students achieve success in sports activities, enjoy the results of the time spent working, improve physical condition, improve health indicators.An example of the organization of the educational process in physical education in the NTU «KPI» with the use of many years of teaching experience, coaching skills of teachers of the department of physical education. Listed specialization in sports, which developed in the department. The characteristic of the main types of educational activities in physical education is given: lectures, practical exercises, control standards for physical fitness, control standards for specializations in sports, complex competitions in specializations in sports, sports events and more.Disclosed the contents of the main learning activities in physical education and offered the best solutions possible conditions, practical recommendations for their implementation in the educational process. Formulated interpretation of the one methods of «optimization».Based on the studies done by the leading insights that reveal the conditions of implementation of techniques for optimizing learning activities for physical education students. The desirability and necessity of conducted work in this direction is an optimal, adequate and rational constructing the content of teaching load in physical education and its inspection.
