Abstract

The paper presents a method for optimizing the geometry of the selected class slotless electrical machines with permanent magnet poles based on the method of enumeration. The pole is divide into a certain number of concentric annular sectors. For each sector, calculated the optimal design, the superposition of the received magnetic systems for optimum design of the poles of the electric machine. In this example, as a criterion for optimization is selected the average value of the starting torque. These results confirm the usefulness of this method in the design of electrical machines with cylindrical permanent magnets.
