Abstract

TRNSYS program was used to simulate the performance of a thermosyphon type domestic solar water heating system which is used in the West Bank. The system installation and operation parameters were optimized including collector tilt angle, the hot water storage tank volume and location relative to the collector, and the hot water consumption pattern and daily rate.
