Abstract

This paper deals with watermarking approach for copyright protection of colour images based on the wavelet transformation. Especially in this work watermarking is done area of best fit equation and Cuckoo Search Algorithm to optimize the performance of existing algorithms. In the proposed method, embedding the watermark in the blue component of the low frequency LH, HL sub bands, and then the strength of the embedded watermark is confidential in the neighborhood and based on the illustration properties of the host signal. These parameters are diverse to find the most appropriate ones for images with different uniqueness. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm yields a watermark which is imperceptible to human eyes and robust to an extensive assortment of common attacks.
