Abstract

An optimal planning method for regenerative electric heating considering the supply capability of the distribution network is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the model of a regenerative electric heating system with a heat pump and a hot water storage tank is established, followed by the calculation method of the supply capability of the distribution network. Then, a double-level optimal planning model of regenerative electric heating is constructed. The first level takes the annual total cost as the goal and the second level is to minimize the annual operation and maintenance cost. Finally, a typical integrated energy systems is used as a test system to illustrate the planning method. The case results show that the proposed method can effectively reduce the peak-valley load difference based on the heat storage capacity of regenerative electric heating.
