Abstract

In this paper, integrated energy system (IES), consisting of electric power system (EPS), natural gas system (NGS) and energy hubs (EHs), is modeled and analyzed in detail. Due to the optimal energy flow problem of IES is the mixed integer nonconvex and nonlinear programming problem, which is difficult to be solved. To address this issue, second-order cone program (SOCP) relaxation is utilized to transform the original nonconvex programming problem into the convex programming problem, thus which can be easily solved by using MOSEK. Finally, simulation studies are conducted on a modified IEEE 33 distribution network and a 15-nodes gas network, which demonstrate that the proposed method could get the global optimal solution quickly and effectively.
