Abstract

An optimal energy flow model and method is proposed with distributed energy resources in integrated energy system (IES). Optimal strategy of IES coupling power system, cold system, natural gas system, and heat system is proposed with fully consideration of energy consumption (including natural gas, solar energy, fuel oil, biomass and electricity) based on energy hub (EH) model. The high-order nonlinear model of gas turbine (GT) under off-design performance is presented according to the needs of different engineering application modes. By the use of supplemental firing equipment (SFE) to regulate the thermoelectric ratio of combined heat and power (CHP) unit, a model of biomass CHP with SFE is established, thus increasing the proportion of CHP energy supply and eventually realizing economic operation of IES. Finally, simulation results indicate that the proposed model and method can effectively and globally solve multi-energy flow calculation and optimal scheduling operation analysis in IES.
