A single anode magnetron injection gun for a 0.5 THz continuously frequency-tunable gyrotron has been presented in this paper. A single-anode electron gun with transverse velocity spread of 3.13% is obtained when the beam acceleration voltage is 15 kV, operating current is 0.8 A and the velocity pitch factor is about 1.45.
