Abstract

The results of an optical spectroscopic survey of 28 southern radio galaxies including redshifts and descriptions of their spectra are presented. One of these objects is a quasar, while five of the remainder involve fields where more than one galaxy has been observed because of the complex radio structure or uncertain identification. A Fleurs synthesis telescope map at 21cm of PKS 0114 – 47 and a VLA map at 6cm of PKS 0843 – 33 are also presented and discussed.
