Abstract
We re-elaborate on the recent basic result that theaction of any multilayer is equivalent to a properLorentz transformation. As a consequence, we proposesimple optical measurements that can serve as ananalogue computer for simulating special relativity.Special attention is paid to the question of the Wignerrotation, showing that it can be easily observed inmultilayers.
