Abstract
Differential cross sections for proton elastic scattering have been measured as part of an extensive programme of optical model studies being carried out with the Rutherford Laboratory linear accelerator. Results have been obtained for 30.3 MeV protons at 2° angular intervals on seven isotopes Ca 40, Fe 56, Co 59, Ni 58, Ni 60, Sn 120 and Pb 208. Less detailed measurements have also been carried out at this energy on C 12, O 16 and a natural mixture of Cu isotopes.
