Abstract

Digital circuit is designed with logic gates. Utilizing these common logic gates, one can carry out completely different arithmetic and logic functions. All-optical arithmetic and logic functions are a great deal in anticipation in elevated pace conversation systems. In this paper, we have proposed 2-bit (half adder) and 3-bit (full adder) data processing circuits utilizing nonlinear Mach–Zehnder interferometer (NMZI) switch. Via numerical simulations, these data processing circuits are studied theoretically and checked.
