Abstract
A theoretical analysis of the optical detection voltage with a glow discharge in a DC magnetic field (PIG type) is described. The detection voltage was calculated using the Langevin equation, and a theoretical curve of the detection voltage against the power density of light was obtained and compared with the experimental results.
