Abstract
The optical energy band-gap and the nature of the fundamental optical absorption transitions in GaSe:B single crystals have been determined by UV-VIS and photoacoustic spectroscopy. The thermal diffusivity, carrier diffusion coefficient, bulk recombination mean lifetime and surface recombination velocity have been measured using the photoacoustic detection technique.
