Abstract

Changes in the electronic properties of pristine, treated and chemically solubilized single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWNT) induced by chemical doping with tetrafluorotetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQF4) were investigated by optical absorption spectroscopy. Charge transfer was observed between semiconducting SWNT (electron donor) and TCNQF4 (electron acceptor).
