Abstract

In the first part of this paper an operational transform technique (OTT) was presented to generate Lyapunov functions for a single-machine, infinite-bus system. This paper presents an extension of OTT to a multimachine power system, taking into account the effects of flux decay, voltage regulator and speed governor. Inclusion of transfer conductances into the Lyapunov function for a second-order model of a multimachine power system is examined and presented.
