Abstract

Operational non-Markovianity of reduced time-evolution is studied when a quantum system is influenced by a statistical mixture of two environments. The operational non-Markovianity is evaluated in terms of a conditional past-future correlation function proposed by Budini (2018) [9]. As an example, the phase-damping channel and the stochastic dephasing channel are considered. The effect of the statistical mixture on the operational non-Markovianity is investigated.
