Abstract
The downstreaming information of Baitbangtan’s technology is carried out, among others, through the Multi Channel Dissemination Spectrum (MCDS). The SDMC use various dissemination channels and actors to enlarge spread and faster known the information technology by stakeholders. However, there are still few discussions at the operational level on how the MCDS should also contribute to enlarge technology utilization and adoption. Referring to the Agricultural Innovation System, an innovation occurs because there is support of various subsystems; ranging from technology providers, carriers, users, markets, policies, and interactions among subsystems. Likewise, the MCDS should be supported by its subsystems for an effective dissemination. This paper aims to contribute ideas on subsystems requirement in the implementation of the MCDS and how these subsystems can push the technology information delivered be used and utilized. The writing method was carried out through the study of relevant literature on the technology dissemination approach implemented along with its success support systems. The results of the study indicate that the supporting subsystems (planning, approaches in the implementation process, policies, infrastructure) for the implementation of technology are essential in dissemination activities. As a system, MCDS does not only focus on delivering information on technological, but the success of technological innovation must be supported by dissemination planning and its subsystems, paying attention to the technology application ecosystem, and interactions between potential users and technology producers.
