Abstract
Objectives: Stented biological valves are widely used particularly in senescent patients. However, two entirely different types exist: Constructed bovine pericardium valves as well as valves assembled from native porcine cusps. While clinical hemodynamic properties are similiar we hypothesized whether the respective movement performance may account for differences in load and stress influencing onset and course of degeneration.
