Abstract
We show that there is an open universe solution in the vacuum-induced-gravity theory (k = 0). The scale factor a(t) obeys a power law a(t)∼ tα, where α is a real number. Under some constraint conditions, this solution is similar to the Einstein–De Sitter universe solution of Einstein's theory.
