Abstract

With the development of the Internet, more and more courses are being launched online. However, for information security courses involving a large number of experiments, the time and space constraints and the varying levels of online learners make it difficult to conduct experiments. In this paper, we propose a method that combines online experiments with the Capture The Flag (CTF) model. Compared with traditional information security experiments, the introduction of CTF solution mode will be able to stimulate student’s interest in information security. Based on dynamic scoring rules, the system can automatically grade individual tests, which can give more objective evaluation and reduce the pressure of teachers to correct assignments. In addition, the experiment questions can be automatically customized according to the overall level of the class.
