Abstract
Abstract Onions were seeded on 16 Apr with a tractor-mounted cone-type planter. Plots were 4 rows, 35 ft long using 120 seeds/row on 21 inch beds replicated 4 times in a randomized complete block design. All chemicals were applied at planting with the onion seed. Stand counts were made 10 Jun and 1 Aug. Observations were made weekly to monitor for the presence of onion maggot damage. The center 2 rows of each plot were lifted, topped, and graded on 10, 15, and 20 Oct, respectively.
