Abstract

Background: The craniotomy is a complex surgery that involves making an artificial hole in the bone to access the brain. In the process, complications may arise, some of which are independent of the surgeon’s skill and may lead to disability or death of the patient. And even if everything goes well, recovery after trepanning of the skull will be long and will require the patient to strictly comply with the requirements of the attending physician. The resulting defect after the operation carries a cosmetic defect for the patient, which plays an important role for the patient’s quality of life
