Abstract

This research paper endeavors to critically examine the feasibility and implications of implementing a Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in India. Against the backdrop of diverse personal laws governing different religious communities, the study delves into the historical evolution of the Uniform Civil Code discourse, tracing its roots to Article 44 of the Indian Constitution.
