Abstract

ABSTRACTThe article describes two uses of the particle pun ignored so far. First, the conjunction hendakpun, which introduces the first of two clauses, the first one indicating what a character of the story would have liked to do, and the second explaining why he (it is always a he) did not do it. Second, pun as a coordinating conjunction: pun links two clauses and makes the last word of the first clause subject of the second.
