Abstract
The UHF Hamiltonian and simple Lowdin-like annihilators are formulated in the second quantization formalism. The so formulated Hamiltonian was employed in many-body Rayleigh-Schrodinger perturbation theory to evaluate the corrections to the UHF orbital energies.
