Abstract

With the development of high technology, the high-speed digital electronic circuit miniaturization, high operating frequency and high-speed transmission of data have continued to improve their functions. Because of the rapid development of semiconductor process, the electronic components become smaller, faster and faster processing speed. Compared to the past electronic circuit systems, the new electronic system will produce unpredictable electromagnetic interference (EMI), signal integrity (Signal Integrity, SI), power integrity (Power Integrity, PI) and other issues. That is to say, Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) has become an important topic in today's design of electronic circuits. Through proposed modelling method, we will discuss High Frequency Suppression Structure with two approaches: the stop-band and pass-band in Z-shape and bandstop filter. In the model, the PCB is divided into five segments of different sizes and rectangular power and ground plane. The High Frequency Suppression Structure are composed of two bandstop filters, rectangular resonant cavity and the Z-shape power bus. Finally, we can effectively isolate the power and ground noise.
